These pictures are from Winter Park Colorado in November
2002. The ski season had just started, so the slopes were fairly
empty. Denver owns the resort, so the roads are always kept
open, even during the worst snow storms. It's the best ski town
in America.

On the lift, and heading up the mountain. The mountain still
has fresh powder on it.

ET phone home. I'm in the middle of a big "Wwwwwuuuuuuzzzzzzzz
UUUUUUpppppp????"

Here's me demonstrating the correct posture for skiing. I'm
pointed uphill, so naturally my skis started to go backwards
while I posed for the picture. Quite embarrassing.
After surviving the first run, you come up and ski again...and
again, and again.

5pm, and the mountain is closed. I make my way to the bar,
and celebrate.
