These are pictures from my flight in a T-6 WWII trainer in Kissimmee Florida. DeAnna purchased this flight as my 40th birthday present. The company runs 3 T-6's and a MASH helicopter. You actually get to fly the plane for 30 minutes, and do acrobatics.

One of the T-6's in the hanger. 44 foot winspan, 11 feet tall, 600 hp supercharged engine.

Strapping in, and Pre-Flight instructions. The words "bail-out" were used a lot. I've just figured out that the first harness is a parachute.

Canopy closed, and we're ready to fly.

The T-6 is an awesome machine to fly. The most responsive plane I've ever had the pleasure to control.

Off we go. With large wheels, the T-6 doesn't need taxiways or even a decent runway.

And we're back. Jay (piloting takeoff & landing from the rear) took me for an excellent ride.

I wish the trip could have been longer. It was hard to get out of such a great plane.
