This watch fits both the “impulse buy” category and the cheap watch list. I found it while browsing ebay and noticed a Casio for $50. The watch is quartz and features a chronograph along with Casio’s rugged design. I needed a good dress watch, so I figured I would gamble on this ebay purchase.
The watch has been a winner since that time. It keeps superb time and matches with many of my formal attire. Given Casio’s reputation for longevity, I know I will have this watch for life. While it appears to be a dress chrono, this watch has a rugged steel frame along with a neoprene soft strap. The steel case protects the mostly plastic movement in much the same way as a G-Shock. If this watch was solar powered, then it would be perfect.
