After making a few watch straps, I started to experiment with leather carving and images. To produce the images I first print them on a laser printer; then I use a heated element to melt the toner and transfer it to leather. Once sealed the image is durable and stays stuck to the leather. The effect is more like a tattoo, as the toner disperses into the leather pores.
